About Us

The Rotary Club of Oshawa was established in 1920. We are People of Action who are neighbours, friends, leaders and problem solvers who create lasting change in ourselves, in our community and in our world.

By supporting local organizations and programs like UOIT, Durham College, RCAC 151 Chadburn Air Cadet Squadron, educational scholarships, and breakfast programs in local schools, we help to nurture tomorrow`s leaders in our community. We help to improve quality of life locally by providing support to organizations like Durham Hospice, Deaf Blind Ontario Services and Canadian Diabetes Association and many more.

On an international scale we are collaborating with other Rotary clubs around the world by taking part in the eradication of polio, supporting clean water programs like Adopt a Village- Laos, Afri-Americas Foundation, Antillean Literacy Project and working on projects in Consuelo, Dominican Republic and more.

All of this is achieved through the donation of our members' time and fundraising efforts through events like our annual Oshawa Rotary Ribfest, held each summer at Lakeview Park. More info is available at www.oshawaribfest.com.
