The Night of a Thousand Dinners is a long Rotary tradition for international aid to very vulnerable people. Today over 200 countries in the world, some 80 are infested with landmines where people and animals live in constant peril. We are making a difference, and our speaker this year, Pattie Lee, is one who has made a huge difference through her own actions - raising over $1.5 million for villages overseas. She will tell her story about landmine awareness, water and sewage installations, as well as landmark programs in the education and health of women.
